It’s July 4, a time for waving flags, fireworks, BBQ, and outrageous and unnecessary displays of military might. It’s also the release date for Season 3 of Stranger Things on Netflix. Binge-watchers rejoice! Your long wait is over.
In case you have forgotten, Stranger Things is a 1980’s nostalgia-fest original Netflix series that takes place in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. Something strange is going on in the town, and a small group of nerdy teenagers uncover it bit by wonderfully strange bit.
The series stars Winona Ryder and a cast of new and breakout stars. None more exciting than Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the character Eleven.
If you need to get up to speed on Seasons 1 and 2, or just have forgotten what’s happened so far, CNET has a nice recap on all the major plot points of the first two seasons. If you’ve got the time, it’s an even better plan to watch (or re-watch) all of the episodes on Netflix.
